Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a motivated Research Coordinator to support clinical and translational programs focused on cell and gene therapy. You will manage day-to-day study operations, recruit participants, obtain informed consent, implement protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in clinical research. You will collaborate with physicians, scientists, sponsors, and regulatory agencies to advance trials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years of research experience.
• CCRC - Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRP) or CCRP - Certified Clinical Research Professional (SOCRA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafts communications with Sponsor/regulatory documents.
• Identifies and recruits clinical research subjects; monitors enrollment goals.
• Precepts new clinical research staff and educates others on studies.
• Schedules PI meetings and coordinates site visits; handles informed consent.
• Obtains vital signs and performs phlebotomy per training.
• Maintains and documents IRB materials; ensures data quality and forms accuracy.
• Assists with budget development and Medicare coverage analysis.
• Supports PI in planning source documents and protocol procedures.
