Job summary

Superluminal Medicines is actively seeking a Research Associate to join our Biology team in Boston. You will expand your proficiency in cell biology, assay development, and screening to accelerate small molecule drug discovery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field and at least 1 year in biotech/pharma, with hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and plate-based assays. A collaborative, cross-functional environment awaits your contributions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology, cell biology, or a related life sciences discipline.
Minimum of 1 year of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Experience working with 384-well plate-based assay formats.
Experience with plate-based in vitro assays (HTRF, luminescence, BRET, or Alpha).
Experience executing cell-based assays including optimization and screening campaigns.
Understanding of early-stage drug discovery processes.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Perform routine mammalian cell culture and maintain mammalian cell lines.
Execute routine cell-based assays to support early-stage drug discovery programs.
Assist with development and optimization of new cell-based assays for screening under guidance.
Generate, analyze, document, and upload experimental data to company databases promptly.
Ensure compliance with lab practices, SOPs, and data management requirements.
