Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Diego, CA is seeking a Scientist to perform cell-based bioassays in a GMP-regulated laboratory. You will generate high-quality data to support product development, stability programs, and regulatory submissions while working closely with project managers, QA, and study directors.

The role involves bioassay execution, method development support, data analysis, and ensuring ALCOA+ data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related degree concentration
• 1-2 years of related industry experience preferred
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Capability to work well on a team and troubleshoot in cross-functional settings
• Ability to read, comprehend, and present complex subjects
• Independent engagement with coworkers, customers and management

Responsibilities

• Perform cell-based potency and ELISA assays.
• Maintain mammalian cell cultures and prepare reagents, standards, and controls.
• Monitor assay performance and control trending.
• Support assay development, qualification, validation and transfer activities.
• Analyze data using bioassay and statistical software and evaluate dose-response curves.
• Maintain GMP-compliant laboratory records and support audits.
