Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an assembly operator for an on-site role in Illinois. The position focuses on meeting on-time delivery by performing assembly per standard work procedures and using basic hand tools. You will read prints and MI/QP, use micrometers and calipers, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Teamwork is essential; adherence to EH&S and 5S principles is required. Overtime may be required as needed to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, follow and understand prints, MI's and QP's to accomplish the assigned task.
• Read and follow work instructions, written and verbal.
• Solve practical problems and adapt to varied situations.
• Use inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges and indicators.
• Perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Compute rate, ratio and percent to interpret bar graphs.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery by performing assembly per standard work procedures and tact time.
• Assemble ball nuts and operate small hand tools for deburring, engraving as needed.
• May use saws, straighteners, buffers, and overhead hoists.
• Communicate daily with team and other facilities.
• Comply with EH&S regulations and maintain 5S in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
