Job summary

Volkert Inc. in Pensacola, FL seeks an experienced CEI Senior Project Engineer to support our Southeast Region. You will lead construction engineering administration and inspection programs, ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree and be a Florida-licensed PE, with 6 years in major road and bridge construction, FDOT procedures familiarity, MOT certification, CTQP course, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree required.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida.
• 6 years of progressive experience in Major Road and Bridge Construction.
• Familiarity with FDOT Policies and Procedures.
• FDOT Advanced MOT Certification.
• Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).

What you need to have:

• Civil Engineering degree
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
• 6 years of progressive experience in Major Road and Bridge Construction
• Familiarity with FDOT Policies and Procedures, (District 3 is a plus)
• FDOT Advanced MOT Certification
• Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination
