DRMP is seeking a CEI Senior Inspector in Lake City, FL to lead on advanced field surveying, construction layout, and strong quality control. You will guide junior inspectors and coordinate with field teams and utility owners to keep projects moving forward while ensuring strict adherence to specifications.

You will bring a high school diploma with 4+ years of DOT roadway/bridge construction experience and the required CTQP certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 4 years of DOT roadway/bridge construction experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
• Completion of the Critical Structures Construction Issues self-study course.

Responsibilities

• Lead on advanced field surveying and construction layout assignments.
• Oversee quality control through inspections and testing.
• Guide junior inspectors.
• Track and document daily construction progress and contractor activities.
• Coordinate with field teams and utility owners to keep projects moving forward.
• Prepare field documentation, density logs, and material samples for testing.
• Verify dimensions, levels, and alignment of construction work with precision.
• Review finished work to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
• Support final estimate packages and maintain daily logs.
• Lead roadway, bridge, segmental, survey, and environmental projects.

What you will lead:

• Track and document daily construction progress and contractor activities
• Coordinate with field teams and utility owners to keep projects moving forward
• Prepare field documentation, density logs, and material samples for testing
• Verify dimensions, levels, and alignment of construction work with precision
• Review finished work to ensure it meets specifications and standards
• Support final estimate packages and maintain detailed daily logs
• Lead roadway, bridge, segmental, survey, and environmental projects

What you bring:

• High school diploma + minimum 4 years of DOT roadway/bridge construction experience
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
• Completion of the Critical Structures Construction Issues self-study course
• Full-time commitment (40+ hours/week with possible overtime)
