Job Description

AECOM is seeking a CEI Senior Inspector to be based in our Tampa, FL office.

Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

1. Being fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the building construction to include masonry work and familiarization with the local and State building codes and ordinances
2. Performing under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
3. Relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
4. Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
5. Provides on the job training to new employees.
6. Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
7. Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
8. Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
9. Tracks quality assurance progress.
10. Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
2. U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work
3. Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Eight (8) years of experience in inspection of building construction
2. Four (4) years of experience in performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting fields test
3. Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction
4. CTQP Final Estimates Level I
5. CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
6. CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
7. CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
8. CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
9. CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
10. CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
11. CTQP Pile Driving Inspection

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $34.00/hour - $55.00/hour.
