Job Description

AECOM is seeking a CEI Senior Inspector based in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities include:

• Knowledge of all aspects of building construction, including masonry, and familiarity with local and state codes.
• Performing under supervision of the Project Administrator.
• Using extensive experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
• Setting own project deadlines.
• Training new employees.
• Monitoring quality, performance, and code compliance through inspections.
• Maintaining inspection records.
• Participating in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
• Tracking quality assurance progress.
• Assisting in documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid Driver’s License and passing Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of building inspection experience.
• 4+ years in technical assignments like surveying, construction layout, and testing.
• Experience in roadway or bridge construction.
• Various CTQP certifications.

Additional Information

Sponsorship and relocation are not provided. Compensation ranges from $34.00 to $55.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
