CDM Smith's CEI team in Tifton, GA is seeking a candidate to inspect and monitor construction activities at the project site(s). The inspector must be able to perform the most complex inspection activities for at least two of the five categories of construction inspection: roadway, bridges, drainage, erosion & control, maintenance & traffic. The candidate will work under limited or direct supervision depending on demonstrated knowledge for the assignment. Work requires knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction; knowledge of geometry and basic mathematics; ability to read, interpret and explain construction plans and drawings, contract provisions, and specifications; and strong communication ability.
An appropriate and valid driver’s license is required.
