Job summary

DRMP is seeking an entry level Construction Engineering Inspection professional in Panama City, FL. This role involves assisting higher-level inspectors with field surveying and construction layout verification, as well as performing engineering computations and quality inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, alongside mentorship and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must obtain DOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of employment.
• Position requires minimum of 40 hours a week with possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities

• Daily documentation of contractor’s work efforts.
• Project field book preparation and documentation.
• Density log book preparation and documentation.
• Material sampling and testing.
• Assisting with preparation of the Final Estimate package.
• Measure distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of construction activity/layout.
• Observes work in progress to ensure that proper construction procedures are followed.
• Obtains and/or prepares material samples for laboratory testing.
• Examines workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standards.
• Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods.
• Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities.
• Responsible for performing basic mathematical calculation.
