What You Will Do
GFT is seeking a CEI Inspector to join our Construction Services Team in Northern Florida. This role involves independently performing complex inspection tasks for soils, concrete, steel, mechanical, and electrical work. Responsibilities include inspecting compliance with codes, standards, and regulations, documenting nonconformances, conducting tests, developing safety practices, drafting quality control reports, providing guidance to lower‑level inspectors, and serving as Lead Inspector when required.
Education | Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 4 years of experience in construction inspection.
- 2 years of experience in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection.
- A Civil Engineering degree with one year of road & bridge CEI experience can be substituted for years of experience.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $30–$40 per hour, dependent upon experience and geographic location.
