Martin Bros. is seeking dependable Delivery Drivers to provide professional delivery service to customers in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Routes start early (2:00–4:00 AM), with 50–55 hours per week, Monday–Friday, home daily. A clean CDL A, valid DOT medical card, and the ability to lift and move product are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Must have a current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Understanding of FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and providing good service.
• Physical ability to lift cases and use a handcart.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and DOT drug screen/physical.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely.
• Place products in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed.
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor or Transportation office promptly.

Martin Bros. is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to provide professional and accurate delivery service to our customers. Delivery Drivers are ambassadors of Martin Bros. and play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving practices, accurate product delivery and providing legendary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Customer Service

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor, manager or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner.

Schedule & Hours

• Delivery routes typically start between 2:00 - 4:00 AM; some routes may begin earlier or later depending on location.
• Drivers can expect to work 10-12-hour shifts, averaging 50-55 hours per week.
• Routes are primarily day routes.Monday - Friday; Home daily.
• Class A CDL with a good driving record is required.

Professional Representation

• Follow company procedures, policies, and uniform requirements.

Safe Operation & Driving Standards

• Safely operate assigned tractor/trailer and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Practice Smith System driving principles and understand the use of onboard cameras.
• Maintain a driving record within Martin Bros. insurance guidelines.
• Maintain ELD logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
