Job summary

Martin Bros. Distributing Co., Inc. is seeking dependable Delivery Drivers to provide professional delivery service to customers throughout the upper Midwest. Drivers are ambassadors of the brand, ensuring safe driving, accurate product delivery, and legendary customer service.

Routes start early with long shifts; home daily and no weekends. A Class A CDL with a good driving record is required to join the team and provide excellent service to customers and shops served by Martin Bros.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.

Martin Bros. is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to provide professional and accurate delivery service to our customers. Delivery Drivers are ambassadors of Martin Bros. and play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving practices, accurate product delivery and providing legendary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Customer Service

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor, manager or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner.

Schedule & Hours

• Delivery routes typically start between 2:00 – 4:0 AM; some routes may begin earlier or later depending on location.
• Drivers can expect to work 10–12-hour shifts, averaging 50–55 hours per week.
• Routes are primarily day routes.Monday - Friday; Home daily.
• Class A CDL with a good driving record is required.

Professional Representation

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, the public, and coworkers.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and uniform requirements.

Safe Operation & Driving Standards

• Safely operate assigned tractor/trailer and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Evaluate delivery sites for potential safety hazards.
• Practice Smith System driving principles and understand the use of onboard cameras.
• Maintain a driving record within Martin Bros. insurance guidelines.
• Maintain ELD logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
