Job summary

Roche is seeking a CDx Clinical Lab Scientist I to perform high-complexity testing on clinical specimens and report results in a compliant environment. You will work under general supervision to support critical clinical trials and process-improvement initiatives in a collaborative lab. The role requires a BS/BA in life sciences and hands-on experience with IHC/ISH, histology, immunoassays, or molecular biology.

Shift is Mon–Fri 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Arizona location; relocation is not available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
Hands-on experience with IHC, ISH, histology, immunoassays, or molecular biology.
Strong knowledge of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Perform high-complexity testing within the CDx CAP/CLIA laboratory.
Support clinical testing and sample processing per CAP/CLIA ISO 15189 guidelines.
Execute biological sample accessioning for blood, plasma, and tissue.
Evaluate quality control and test results against acceptance criteria.
Prepare laboratory documentation and GDP-compliant records.
Investigate laboratory failures and assist with root-cause analysis.
Maintain laboratory readiness through routine maintenance and safety checks.
Drive process improvements and propose new workflows.
