Mercy is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the SE Weekender in Cape Girardeau, MO. The role operates 12-hour nights on weekends, within the Clinical Decision Unit, requiring nursing process application and strong collaboration with departments.

Sign-on incentives and educational bridging programs are offered. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of acute nursing experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and an active RN license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of acute nursing experience preferred.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state; state board requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
