Job summary

VPSI in San Diego seeks a Cross Domain Solution Specialist to provide subject matter expertise for cross-domain policy analysis, design, and implementation support to configure and validate CDS access and transfer capabilities integrated within client networks. You will support CDS requirements analysis and implementation in support of test and exercise events.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree with multiple years of cyber experience, an active Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II

Qualifications

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise for cross domain policy analysis, design, and implementation support to configure and validate CDS access and transfer capabilities.
• Subject Matter Expert in the rule set and filter development for CDS -Understand, troubleshoot, and integrate CDS systems into existing Navy SoS to include: CANES, DCGS-N, and SSEE; coordinate with engineers during integration and testing.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain networked and standalone computing equipment with SE Linux environments; install and remove software requiring advanced configuration.
• Provide CDS expertise in the analysis of DOG or CDA to define cross domain policies; support TA A&A activities for SBSA.

Responsibilities

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise for cross domain policy analysis, design, and implementation support to configure and validate CDS access and transfer capabilities.
• Subject Matter Expert in the rule set and filter development for CDS -Understand, troubleshoot, and integrate CDS systems into existing Navy SoS to include: CANES, DCGS-N, and SSEE -Work with engineers to detect and resolve system, component, or design issues during the integration and testing of CDS products.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain networked and standalone computing equipment with a focus on SE Linux environments -Install and remove software that may require the advanced configuration of network devices and applications.
• Provide CDS expertise in the analysis of system Data Owner Guide (DOG) or Cross Domain Appendix (CDA) to define cross domain policies -Support Trusted Agent (TA) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for each unique CDS Site Based Security Assessments (SBSA).
