Job summary

ByteDance’s Global Engineering CDN internship program offers hands-on experience building and operating a global multi-cloud CDN platform. You will assist in CDN data pipelines, dashboards, and data quality checks while working with mentors to learn CDN data models, metrics, and business scenarios.

Interns gain exposure to data analytics for CDN traffic, performance, cost, and resource usage, participate in data-driven governance discussions, and explore potential career paths through workshops

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Familiar with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala.
• Basic understanding of data structures, databases, SQL, or data processing concepts.
• Interested in data platforms, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, or network data.
• Strong learning ability, analytical thinking, and attention to data quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building CDN data pipelines, dashboards, reports, or data quality checks.
• Participate in data analysis related to CDN traffic, performance, cost, resource usage, or vendor data.
• Help improve the visibility and usability of CDN operational and business data.
• Support data-driven analysis for platform governance, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Work with mentors to understand CDN data models, metrics, and business scenarios.
