Job summary

Healthcare DIetary in Hadley, MA is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead and oversee the dietary department. You will ensure quality food and nutrition services for residents and patients, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have CDM certification or willingness to obtain, 1+ year of dietary experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with other departments and provide education and counseling as needed.

Qualifications

• CDM certification or willingness to obtain within timeframe.
• 1+ years of experience in dietary or related field.
• Strong leadership and management skills to supervise staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, patients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of dietary department including menu planning, food prep and distribution.
• Manage and supervise dietary staff including training, scheduling and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance dining experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide nutrition counseling and education.
• Handle budgeting, inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of food production and inventory.
