You will collaborate with the Administrator, Dietitian, and nursing leadership to meet resident dietary needs, manage menus, and supervise staff. This full-time leadership role offers opportunities for professional growth and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FSSMC or Illinois food safety manager certification.
• Knowledge of food service operations, sanitation and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate dietary programs and services.
• Supervise, train, coach, and support dietary staff.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Ensure meals and snacks follow menus, diet orders and resident preferences.
• Process new diet orders and diet changes promptly.
• Review therapeutic and regular diets to ensure they align with physician orders.
• Maintain accurate menus and dietary records.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to concerns.
