Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Truck Driver for a dedicated Illinois account. You will haul no-touch general freight with live load/unload and average about 2,156 miles per week, with homes 1–2 nights weekly and a 34-hour reset.

Expect a Friday–Tuesday shift with start times 8:00 PM–10:00 PM, and uniforms provided through the DCS Cintas program. Parking is at 125 N Thorndale Ave, Wood Dale, IL 60191.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to handle live-load/live-unload operations.
• Reliable transportation to the required parking/reporting location.

Responsibilities

• Haul dedicated general freight between IL and surrounding states.
• Operate no-touch freight with live load/unload.
• Maintain schedules on a Fri–Tue shift with 8:00 PM–10:00 PM starts.

CDL-A Semi-Local Truck Driver – $92K + $5K Bonus | No Touch

Earn approximately $92,000 per year on a dedicated semi-local account hauling no-touch general freight between Illinois and surrounding states. Drivers average 2,156 miles per week and are home 1-2 nights per week plus their 34-hour reset.

Pay Details

$92,000 per year

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,800
• $5,000 Bonus
• Drivers hired on or before 9/18 receive:
  • $1,000 on the paycheck following first dispatch
  • $1,500 after 30 days of employment

Job Details

• Dedicated general freight account
• Haul freight from Bensenville, IL to customer sites in IL, MN, MI, and OH
• No-touch freight
• All loads are live load/unload
• Typical live load/unload time: approximately 1 hour
• When freight volume is low, drivers may support nearby accounts, including JBI
• Uniforms provided through the DCS Cintas program

Shift Details

• Friday-Tuesday
• Start times: 8:00 PM-10:00 PM
• Home 1-2 nights per week
• Home during the 34-hour reset
• Holiday work may be required unless the holiday falls on a scheduled day off
