Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Dedicated Freight Driver for a home-weekly role on a dedicated route in IL and nearby states. You’ll earn about $92,000 gross per year with a $5,000 bonus and a new-hire incentive, averaging ~2,156 miles per week.

No-touch freight with live loads/unloads taking about an hour and the option to cover nearby accounts when freight is light. Requirements: valid CDL-A, at least 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience, clean driving record, and DOT

Pay Details

$92,000 Average Annual Gross Pay

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,800
• $5,000 Bonus
• Limited-Time New-Hire Incentive: $1,000 after first dispatch + $1,500 after 30 days for drivers hired by 9/18

Job Details

• Haul general freight to customer locations across IL, MN, MI, and OH
• No-touch freight
• Live loads and unloads, typically taking about 1 hour

Shift Details

• Wednesday-Sunday
• Start times between 8:00 PM-10:00 PM
• Home 1-2 nights per week plus a 34-hour reset
• Holiday work may be required
