Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Building Materials Driver for an Amherst, NH account. Earn $85,000 per year with a $5,000 bonus, delivering doors, mouldings, stair parts and other building products across New England and New York while averaging 1,334 miles per week. Home time is 1-2 nights per week, but not guaranteed. Trucks are 2 years old or newer with automatic sleeper trucks.

• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver doors, mouldings, stair parts, and specialty building products.
• Cover a semi-local route across New England and New York (about 1,334 miles/week).
• Operate 53' curtain-side flatbed trailers; freight is preloaded or live loaded.
• Secure loads with straps and unstrap/re-strap freight as needed.

Earn $85,000 per year on a dedicated semi-local building materials account based in Amherst, NH. Deliver doors, mouldings, stair parts, and specialty building products to repeat customers throughout New England and New York while averaging 1,334 miles per week. • Average Weekly Pay: $1,700

• $20/hour safety training pay
• Steel-toed boot reimbursement up to $100 with receipt

• Delivery territory: MA, NY, CT, NH, VT, ME, and RI
• No NYC deliveries
• Deliver to repeat customers
• 53' curtain-side flatbed trailers
• Freight is preloaded or customer-loaded when live loaded
• Minimal close-quarter backing because freight is unloaded from the side
• Trucks are 2 years old or newer
• Automatic sleeper trucks
• Trucks must remain at the account during time off
• Online orientation available

Shift Details

• Sunday-Thursday
• Start times: 4:00 AM-5:00 AM
• Typically 5 days out
• May be home 1-2 nights per week, but not guaranteed
• 12-14 hour shifts
• Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's off
