Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a seasoned CDL-A Truck Driver for a dedicated Las Vegas, Nevada route. The role involves driving, unloading with rollers, and mandatory entry/exit from trailers to complete deliveries. Drivers stay active and focused on safety and timeliness.

Schedule starts at 06:00 with up to 14-hour shifts. Las Vegas drivers are out two weeks at a time, with three days at home. Western states network includes AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NE, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, WY.

Qualifications

• Experience with CDL-A trucking required.
• Dedicated fleet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated route for Family Dollar.
• Unload trailers using rollers and enter/exit trailers as needed.
• Maintain safe driving practices and on-time delivery.

Job Description:

• Hiring experienced CDL-A drivers on a dedicated fleet.
• This position is ideal for drivers wanting to stay active while driving!
• Drivers on this account will unload the trailer using rollers and climb in and out of the trailer as needed.

Delivery Locations:

• Customer locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Schedule:

• Start time is 06:00 am. Drivers will work up to 14 hours.
• Days off vary based on freight demands, but will fall during the weekdays in most instances.
• Drivers living in Las Vegas will be out 2 weeks at a time followed by 3 days home.

Compensation:

• Mileage Pay
• Pay per Load
• Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus – Up to 3% of Mileage Pay

Equipment:

• Company provided Tandem-Axle Sleeper trucks pulling 53' dry van trailers.
• Top of the line automatic transmission trucks.
