Job summary

Pickle Roofing Solutions is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Family Dollar account based out of St. George, UT. This lane runs across multiple states hauling dry freight and is ideal for drivers who want more than just driving and to stay active.

Expected miles per week vary, with typical 1,700 miles, 2 loads and 3 stops per load. Start time is 6 AM with up to 14 hour shifts; weekly home time with a 34-hour reset. A safety bonus of up to 3% weekly is available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 3 months or more of CDL-A experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry freight on a dedicated Family Dollar account across a multi-state area.
• Unload trailers using rollers; climb in and out as needed.
• Start time at 6 AM; up to 14 hour shifts.
• Weekly home time with a 34-hour reset; some routes may require longer deployments.
• Safe and On Time Bonus—up to 3% weekly.

Job description

Hiring experienced CDL-A drivers on a dedicated fleet out of St. George, UT. Drivers on this Family Dollar account haul dry freight within a multi-state area. This position is ideal for drivers wanting to do more than drive and stay active.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Dedicated account with Family Dollar hauling all dry freight to customer locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregan, Utah, Washington and Wyoming

Average 1,700 miles, 2 loads per week, and 3 stops per load

Start time is 6AM with up to 14 hour shift

Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset. Drivers living in Las Vegas will be out 2 weeks at a time followed by 3 days home

Unload the trailer using rollers (requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary)

Days off vary based on freight demand, but will fall during the weekdays in most instances

Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day

St George Backhaul Pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage

Clean DOT Inspection - $25

Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly

Driver Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience
