Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is hiring for a tractor-trailer driver to serve Tampa and surrounding areas. The role features a home-daily schedule with a typical workday from 7am to 4pm, hauling local and regional freight to ports and rails.

CDL-A with TWIC is required and a strong safety record is essential. Pay is up to $550 per day with weekly settlement and a range of employee benefits. This position emphasizes stability, consistent work, and local driving opportunities within the

Qualifications

• CDL A with TWIC and clean driving record is required.
• At least 21 years old and DOT compliant (2005 or newer).
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• Pass physical and drug screen.
• Criminal background check required.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer routes primarily serving Orlando, Ocala, Lakeland, Alachua, Plant City and local Tampa.
• Home daily with consistent daytime schedule (7am–4pm).
• Deliver LOCAL, REGIONAL, PORTS & RAILS freight and settlements weekly.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies.

Avg. Workday 7am-4pm Gross pay up to $550/day Up to 70% of the linehaul LOCAL freight, Regional, Ports & Rails Pay Week is Sunday to Saturday and Settled the following Friday.

Requirements

• 6 months or more of tractor trailer experience in the last year.
• CDL A TWIC needed to start
• At least 21 years of age DOT Compliant 2005 or Newer
• Tractor Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history

• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
