Job summary

WME Express in Lufkin, TX is seeking Class A regional intermodal drivers for a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule. You will haul intermodal rail containers across TX and surrounding states; runs center around the Haslet, TX rail yard with company-provided tractors, chassis, and containers.

The operation runs 24/7/365 with home-time parking at select facilities. Requirements include CDL-A, Hazmat endorsement within 180 days of orientation, Hazmat training and reimbursement, reliable transportation,

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 180 days of orientation.
• Must be comfortable with regional driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Regional driving in TX, OK, AR, MS, TN, MO, KS, and LA.
• Haul intermodal rail containers between railyards and customers.
• Operate 100% no-touch freight with drop & hook when possible.
