Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a dependable CDLA Flatbed Truck Driver for a local Monroe, NC role, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will transport concrete and plastic water pipes to regional job sites and support the warehouse when not on the road.

Candidates must hold a CDLA license, have at least one year of flatbed experience, a valid DOT medical certificate, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating a forklift in the warehouse.

We are currently looking for a dependable, safety-focused professional to join our team in Monroe, NC, as a CDLA Flatbed Truck Driver. In this local position, you will be responsible for transporting concrete and plastic water pipes to regional job sites, while also supporting our warehouse team when you are not on the road. Based in Monroe, NC, this role operates on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a starting compensation of $22.00 per hour.

Primary Duties:

• Transport concrete and plastic water piping to regional locations using a flatbed tractor trailer.
• Confirm that all cargo matches shipping paperwork and finalize necessary delivery records.
• Ensure the safety of all cargo by properly strapping and securing items before departure.
• Promote customer satisfaction by unloading materials efficiently and professionally at each stop.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all company and DOT safety regulations.
• Uphold a clean driving record while consistently practicing safe vehicle operation habits.
• Perform job duties effectively while working in various outdoor weather conditions.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Utilize a forklift to assist with the loading and unloading of transport vehicles.
• Support general facility operations, which includes the regular lifting of 50 lbs.
• Contribute to inventory management, palletizing, stocking, and order fulfillment processes.
• Help keep the warehouse environment orderly and efficient by performing dock-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid CDLA license and a minimum of one year of experience operating flatbed trucks.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the proper techniques for strapping and securing various loads.
