Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking local Class A Experienced Drivers in Oakland, CA. CDL required with at least 6 months of manual tractor-trailer experience. Flat rate, 10-12 hours daily; dayshift Mon-Fri with start times between 4:00am and 6:00am.

You will drive to Reno and must be able to chain up in winter. Home daily with drop and hook, no touch freight. Must be fluent in English and able to pass medical and security requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL license required.
• 6 months manual tractor-trailer experience.
• Active TWIC card required.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Medical certificate and long form physical (4 pages).

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer as primary duties.

Driving transmission tractor trailers must be with van, 53" or containers. The ideal candidate must drive Stick and must be able to go to Reno and drive with chains during the winter. Flat Rate Averaging 10-12 hours daily. Dayshift: (Monday thru Friday) Start time between 4:00am and 6:00am.
