Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic dock equipment and hand-held scanners.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches moving a parked trailer between yard and doors.
• Coordinates trailer movements with management or central control.
• Documents trailer moves in Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adheres to yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
