Job summary

Dart Entities is seeking an experienced Yard Spotter with a Class A CDL to join our Los Angeles warehouse operations team. You will safely move trailers, support shipping and receiving, and help position freight for efficient workflows.

The role requires at least two years of yard trailer-move experience, forklift familiarity, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Competitive pay, benefits, and a steady schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required with yard spotter experience.
• Minimum 2 years in yard trailer movement or similar role.
• Forklift training/certification completed and on file.
• Valid driving record and ability to operate in a busy yard.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills for inventory and loading calculations.

Responsibilities

• Move loaded and empty trailers between yard locations and dock doors.
• Operate yard equipment safely in high-traffic areas.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety rules, dock locks, wheel chocks, and speed limits.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks as needed.
• Assist with inbound/outbound shipments and inventory movements.
• Coordinate product movement between storage, trailers, and railcars.
