Job summary

Red Baron Transportation, a division of BWT Logistics, is seeking a dependable CDL Yard Jockey / Spotter for our Albany, NY operation. Move trailers safely, position at docks, and support yard and dock activities with a strong safety focus.

The role requires a Valid Class A CDL, DOT Medical Card, and 3+ years of relevant experience. Competitive hourly pay from $25.00 to $27.00, with health benefits after 90 days and PTO after 90 days. 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with rotating weekday/weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• 3+ years of transportation, yard spotting, or driving experience.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely between dock doors, staging areas, and yards.
• Position trailers at designated dock doors and manage yard locations.
• Inspect yard tractors and equipment pre/post trip.
• Maintain records of trailer movements and follow safety rules.
