Job summary

The Home Depot in Monroe, LA is seeking a Yard Driver to maintain yard organization, spot trailers at dock doors, and move trailers as needed. CDL licensed drivers may assist with offsite relocations and update trailer moves via a hand-held device.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to load and unload heavy items, and adherence to safety protocols. You will report to the Operations Manager and coordinate with yard teams to ensure accurate trailer movements and efficient yard

Qualifications

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid, active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to load and unload heavy items and operate yard equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• 10% Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
• 80% Conduct daily inspections on yard equipment; Driving yard trucks and spotting at designated locations.
• 10% Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System.
