Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Yard Driver in McCalla, AL to maintain yard organization and safely spot trailers at docks and throughout the yard. CDL licensed drivers may be asked to move trailers to offsite locations and update trailer moves via a handheld device.

Responsibilities include performing general warehouse tasks, conducting daily inspections of yard equipment, driving yard trucks, and ensuring yard accuracy using the Yard Management System.

Qualifications

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to load and unload heavy items.

Responsibilities

• 10% Perform general warehouse tasks as needed
• 80% Conduct daily inspections on yard equipment; Driving yard trucks and spotting at designated locations
• 10% Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System
