Job summary

Synagro is seeking a driver to safely transport material from client locations to processing or disposal sites. You will load and unload with trucks or heavy equipment, possibly involving tankers and off-road trailers.

You must maintain logs, inspect equipment, and adhere to DOT and company rules in a field environment. The role may require travel between sites, occasional overnight stays, and physical tasks such as lifting and operating heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with Tanker Endorsement preferred.
• Minimum 3 years roll-off experience preferred.
• Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage.
• Serve as a brand advocate in every interaction with clients and the public.
• Carry out daily inspections and preventative maintenance on truck/equipment.
• Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations and procedures.
• Operate truck/equipment safely at all times.
• Load, unload, and timely delivery of material to destination.
• Travel between job sites or plants; overnight travel may be required.
• Clean bio-solids off truck/equipment before leaving field site.
• Perform shop cleanup, maintenance and equipment/tools setup.
