Job summary
Synagro is seeking a responsible Truck Driver to safely transport material from client locations to processing or disposal sites. The role involves loading and unloading with commercial trucks or heavy equipment, and may include off-road tankers and end-dump trailers.
You’ll adhere to safety and DOT regulations and maintain logs and vehicle condition. The position offers competitive pay of $25.00-$27.00 per hour, benefits, and opportunities for overtime, with potential travel between job sites
Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement preferred.
- Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years
Responsibilities
- Complete a daily truck log and submit mileage reports at EOD
- Serve as brand advocate and ambassador in client interactions
- Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance on truck/equipment
- Comply with DOT, state, local and in-house regulations
- Operate truck/equipment in a safe manner at all times
- Load, unload and deliver material to approved destinations
- Travel between job sites; overnight travel possible
- Clean bio-solids off truck/equipment before leaving site
- Perform shop cleanup and equipment setup
