Knife River Corporation in Texas is seeking a CDL driver to operate a water truck, spray water on road surfaces, and help keep gravel roads at optimum moisture.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, recording pre/post-trip, safely operating equipment, adhering to safety and environmental regulations, and supporting construction crews under high-stress conditions.

Must have Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement, pass DOT tests, read/write English; veterans encouraged; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement and ability to operate standard transmission vehicle.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must read, write and speak English sufficiently to comply with FMCSA regulations and required records.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate water truck and water pumps and apply water volumes as required.
• Perform daily equipment walkarounds and inspections; record pre/post-trip checks.
• Keep accurate gallons/volumes from sources and monitor vehicle performance and maintenance.
• Assist construction crews as needed and communicate effectively under high-stress conditions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR and environmental regulations.
