Texas Sterling Construction in San Antonio, TX is seeking a dependable CDL Water Truck Driver to support construction crews by transporting and distributing water for excavation, dust control, and compaction. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT regulations, and punctual reporting.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, monitor truck supplies, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends and overtime as needed, contributing to our safety-focused, team-driven culture.

Competenze

• Valid CDL Class A or B with tanker endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate and Medical Examiner’s Report.
• No DUIs in the last 5 years; no more than 2 moving violations; no more than 1 accident in past 3 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a comparable vehicle.
• Strong understanding of federal and state driving and safety regulations.

Mansioni

• Safely operate a water truck to transport and distribute water at construction sites.
• Use auxiliary pump systems to compact soil and control dust.
• Insert pipe in refilled trenches and support excavation backfilling.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain truck supplies (oil, gas, tires, brakes, lights).
• Ensure compliance with all DOT, federal, and state safety regulations.
• Maintain daily logs and submit timely reports.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns immediately.
• Wear PPE and follow company safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in safety meetings and training.
