Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas is seeking a DOT Water Truck Driver to support paving, milling, and equipment operations across Texas. You will ensure water delivery, application, and control are performed safely and efficiently on active job sites.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable vehicle operation with both manual and automatic transmissions. Prior trucking experience, clean DOT record, and a Tank Vehicle endorsement are valued.

Qualifications

• Entry Level Position
• Knowledge of how the vehicles operate and are maintained
• Familiarity with asphalt production and safety requirements is preferred
• OSHA/MSHA regulations familiarity is a plus

Responsibilities

• Fill, transport, and offload water to various job locations.
• Coordinate with paving, milling, and equipment operations to facilitate dust control and compaction.
• Accurately fill and empty tanks from approved sources, ensuring correct product and water levels.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections on vehicles including fueling, cleaning, and fluids checks.
• Complete trip tickets and paperwork; use apps to track time and travel.
