Job summary

OTC Services is seeking a full-time driver to transport material on-site and to the landfill from Burlington Township, NJ. The role requires operating a roll-off truck, dump truck, tractor-trailer, forklift, and other equipment, with on-site and off-site duties encompassed in the job scope.

You will inspect, drive, and monitor loads, assist customers, and adhere to safety policies. A CDL and clean driving record are essential; weekend/OT overtime may occur.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a commercial driver license.
• No DWI or DUI convictions. No MVR points on the driving record within 3 years of hire date.
• Ability to follow written instructions; read and use maps properly and enter information correctly on OTC driver paperwork forms.
• Physically and mentally capable of operating a commercial vehicle safely as well as handling the physical demands of sustained sitting, walking and driving in a noisy/outdoor environment.
• Have no medical conditions or physical limitations that would prevent the lifting of 50 pounds or getting in and out of a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of equipment and safely operate vehicles such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, forklifts, and front-end loaders.
• Drive onsite and transport material to the landfill and assist customers dropping material off.
• Monitor equipment readiness and assist with training new personnel as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Inspects customers’ loads and directs them to unloading areas; monitor unloading to prevent contamination.
