Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on local routes and provide courteous waste removal services. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow safety standards, and maintain accurate route and vehicle reports while delivering reliable service to customers across our Texas operations.

Must possess valid Class B CDL with air brakes, adhere to all safety policies, and communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B or higher with air brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks on assigned routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned route and service each customer professionally.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vessel safety and compliance.
• Load refuse and operate the packer blade per safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers daily.
• Document route and productivity data as required.
• Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition and report defects promptly.
