WMATA is seeking a Warehouse Technician (CDL) to join our team in Washington, DC. The role focuses on transporting WMATA materials and coordinating warehousing duties, including inventory control and deliveries of furniture and office equipment.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDL, have experience in warehouse operations, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to support efficient asset management and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Acts as custodian of designated facilities and storage location; ensures care, custody, safekeeping of assets and deliveries/pickups per schedule.
• Receives and stores incoming merchandise and allocates assets for future deliveries.
• Operates an official WMATA non-revenue vehicle to pick up and deliver furniture, office equipment, salvable materials and other items.
• Coordinates inspection of damaged goods for replacement or repair; liaises with claims inspectors or vendors.
• Prepares and maintains files, records, and reports supporting WMATA’s financial accounts.
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks to fulfill duties.
