Job summary

Connecticut Distributors is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute products within the warehouse. You will handle order picking, loading, and dispatch, while safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid CDL license, with 6–12 months of related experience. You will perform inventory checks, ensure accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months related experience or training.
• Must hold a valid CDL license.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receives and disperses product merchandise or POS materials according to storage methods and handling procedures.
• Sorts and places materials on racks or bins by size, type, year of vintage, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock based on invoices and loads onto pallets or conveyors for delivery.
• Operates forklifts and cherry pickers safely.
• Prepares split case orders and packs products into shipping containers.
• Rotates product according to prescribed procedures and maintains inventory.
• Takes inventory as scheduled and reports deterioration or damage.
• May perform quality check to ensure loaded items match invoices and orders.
• Obeys safety rules and keeps a clean work area.
• May drive company vehicle for deliveries.
