Job summary

Country Pure Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 3rd shift in Ellington, CT. This full-time position involves loading, unloading, storing, and distributing materials across the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks and use a Warehouse Management System to document activities. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and 6–12 months of related experience; forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as production schedules, inventory reports, safety rules, and procedures.
• Computer Skills: Proficient typing and basic software (MS Excel, Word, Email).

Responsibilities

• Conveys materials from receiving or production to storage or other areas.
• Sorts materials by size, type, color or product code.
• Stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms or freezers.
• Distributes items to production workers or packing/shipping stations.
• Assembles customer orders and places them on pallets or shelves.
• Maintains inventory records and performs cycle counts.
• Uses Warehouse Management System to reflect production, shipping, receiving, and inventory data.
• Performs trailer inspections and completes related documentation.
• Ensures food safety and quality; reports concerns to supervisor.
