Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated and qualified applicants for the part-time Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) position in Kent, Washington. You will deliver and return Penske vehicles, moving box trucks up to 26’; CDL Class A may include tractors and trailers.

Schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm, with 0–25 hours per week depending on business needs. Safety and compliance with DOT are essential, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A preferred.
• English language proficiency per federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving to Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical and safety equipment is in good working order and report issues.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.
• Assist service department with delivery of parts and equipment as needed.
