Job summary

Select Water Solutions’ CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight. This position handles loading, unloading of oilfield equipment, and maintains a clean, safe work environment while delivering on schedule.

The role reports to the Operations Manager, requires CDL A, DOT compliance, current medical card, and the ability to work night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as CDL A driver preferred.
• CDL A license.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Meet all Federal Motor Carrier DOT requirements and safety qualifications.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret information such as driving routes, safety rules, tickets, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• CDL certification from accredited driving school and one year of similar driving experience; experience may be substituted.
• Experience in energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure truck properly.
• Ensure weight of shipments.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and security.
• Ensure truck has proper and current inspections.
• Comply with all DOT requirements.
• Maintain driver qualification records and driving records.
• Keep paperwork orderly and documented transactions.
• Drive courteously and deliver on time with safe driving.
• Coordinate with Procurement for deliveries and pickups.
• Represent the company in uniform.
• Load and unload as required.
• Work in yard and field as needed by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Operate tractor trailer and associated equipment safely.
