Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Utility Driver to service customers with trash and recycling collection. The role involves driving a variety of trucks, loading containers, and maintaining route logs while ensuring safety and compliance on every route.

The position requires a Class B CDL and a valid DOT Medical Card, with opportunities to travel across assigned routes and work nights or weekends as needed.

Formación

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.

Responsabilidades

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, in a safe and compliant way, by emptying trash/recycling containers into truck and hauling to disposal site.
• Operate various types of trucks and/or complete various routes.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck approximately 300-500 times per day, depending on the assigned route.
• Pick up missed stops and/or routes as needed.
• Deliver trash/recycling containers as needed.
• Replace trash/recycling containers neatly at the curb or designated area.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body and ensure cleanliness of truck cab.
• Maintain and update route & driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service.
