Qualifications

• One to two years of experience driving Bobtail/Straight Truck 24 ft or larger.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to Bobtail truck operation.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to designated locations.
• Ensure the safety of trucks, material handlers, and self.
• Report unsafe conditions.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Pickup donations from residences, businesses, ADCs, and stores.
• Deliver donated goods to the dock and merchandise to stores.
• Serve as material handler loading/unloading truck.
• Supervise material handlers when loading/unloading/deliveries.
• Meet deadlines and respond to special needs.
• Maintain truck in safe, proper working condition.
• Attend Department and Safety meetings as required.
