GOODWILL OF THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY is hiring a full-time driver in South San Francisco. The role involves safely operating a vehicle to pick up, transport, and deliver donated goods while maintaining high customer service standards with donors and internal teams.

Applicants must hold a California Class A license with a clean record, have DOT medical certification, and pass a pre-employment DOT drug test. Flexibility for weekends and early mornings is required, and lifting up to 25 lbs is part of

Qualifications

• California Class A Driver License with clean record.
• 2+ years commercial driving experience.
• California DMV record no more than 30 days old.
• DOT medical card on file.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test.
• Able to read maps and communicate using GW issued radio or phone.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations, processed merchandise and other materials.
• Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary.
• Follows all established policies, procedures and local, county, state and federal laws.
• Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Processes and submits paperwork as directed and reviews reporting.
• May be required to work overtime to complete tasks.
• Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
