Ray's Roofing is seeking a dependable CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Chicago. The role combines driving with hands-on warehouse duties, including loading/unloading and material handling, in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have valid CDL (A or B), an air brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and experience operating commercial vehicles and related equipment; forklift or piggyback experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL commercial vehicles to deliver roofing materials to job sites and customers
• Inspect and maintain assigned truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts, piggyback/Moffett equipment, conveyors, and related material-handling equipment
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain all required logs, paperwork, delivery tickets, and reports in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
• Assist with warehouse and yard duties including loading/unloading trucks; restocking inventory; organizing materials and yard space; inventory control; general warehouse labor and cleanup; follow safety procedures; support team operations
