Job summary

Richards Building Materials in Champaign, IL is seeking a CDL Class A or B Delivery Driver/Warehouse employee. The role includes delivering products to job sites and handling warehouse duties, with a focus on safe handling of shingles and physical unloading.

Requirements include at least 1 year of CDL driving, valid CDL A or B, and forklift certification. You will operate Boom Truck at times and support inventory, loading/unloading, and weekly cycle counts. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CDL driving experience required.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries will include unloading shingles onto one and two story homes using the Boom Truck and received on the roof by the contractor.
• Safely deliver customer materials to the job site per scheduled delivery and avoid damage to property.
• Maintain records of deliveries, truck mileage, fuel receipts, and proof of delivery via camera phone.
• Complete forklift and truck inspection for safety and proper documentation.
• Participate in weekly cycle counts and annual inventory of the Branch.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderly cleanliness at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
